WELCOME!

Hardly any trading here at the moment. Further I basically stopped updating this list (which contains maybe half of my collection).

I occasionally do trade, most interesting bands for me currently are Melt-Banana, Deerhoof, I'm also looking for more Erase Errata, Nisennenmondai, also M.I.A. + always rare 60s/70s/80s free jazz + noise improv.

1. FREE JAZZ & IMPROV - I'm specialised in the european scene from the 60s, 70s & 80s, but there's also lots of other stuff in there.

2. "AVANTGARDE" ROCK & NOISE MUSIC - "NY Downtown-scene", R.I.O. + related, selected "Prog rock" (and miscellaneous weirdness :o)

3. FRANK ZAPPA - self-explanatory. Currently I'm pretty much into his stuff again (basically '72-'82)

4. INDEPENDENT ROCK/POP - a rather narrow selection of stuff mostly rooted in the 80s/90s and, as it turned out, usually fronted by a female vocalist

5. CLASSICAL AVANTGARDE - Here you find listed a mix of 20th/21st-century composers/festivals/interprets.

what I'm doing:

In general: I trade for audio CDs or flac-CDs/DVDs viasnail mail. Since I have an account on Dimeadozen as well as The Trader's Den, I also could upload something there (be it as an exchange or - if time allows - to meet a seed-request for something you really need).

Otherwise pretty much the usual: I supply info about flaws & sound (if not already mentioned in the list), I copy via hard drive (with EAC), I burn carefully (slow; and DAO) & use high-quality media, I send in sleeves/with bubble mailer (air mail), I don't write or stick anything on the discs, I avoid mp3s and keep you updated about what's going on.

And I'm always happy to receive about the same.
